Art Honors provides a platform for recognizing the achievements of artists, philanthropists, art educators and artist entrepreneurs with significant ties to Maine. This year, we will honor Angela Adams for Entrepreneurship in the Arts and Alison Hildreth for Leadership in Art. Both of these artists create nature-inspired images that are rooted in Maine’s iconic landscape, and whose illustrative lives are an inspiration to the thriving arts community in Maine.

For this year’s annual event, we return to The Portland Company at 58 Fore Street in Portland on Thursday, May 15, 2008. The space will be enlived withe a fabric installation by Transformit, appropriate to the evening’s celebration which emphasizes the synergy between art and business.
