| Zagyva's current project entitled 'Finding Ground' contructs an experience through the use of combining phenomenological subjective experience with narrative humor in a video installation piece. This work subtly leads the viewer through an experience by means of controlling air temperature, releasing aroma, hidden audio components and lighting effects to set an unfamiliar atmosphere. The installation investigates the social notions of authority and control; and the cultural effects on the collective individual as one is taken out of their context and immersed into an unknown. |
