Tina Rath - Assistant Professor of Metalsmithing & Jewelry MFA, Sandberg Instituut; BFA, University of the Arts. Work exhibited internationally at Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, "Dis Play" 2001; annual Schmuck exhibition, Munich, Germany (traveled to Edinburg, Scotland) 2002; and the internationally curated jewelry exhibition "Le Porte Object", Nimes, France 2003. US exhibits include three solo exhibitions, numerous group gallery and museum shows. Work published in Metalsmith magazine and included in the permanent collections of the Museum of Art + Design, Charlotte, NC and the Museum of Art and Design, NYC. Collaborated on jewelry projects including commissions from the Dutch Fur Institute and the Piaget watch company. Has taught at the California College of Arts and Crafts and lectured at San Francisco State University, University of the Arts and SOFA Chicago. |
