Robert Jenkins, Continuing Associate Professor

Robert Jenkins is a lifetime educator who has taught at all levels of education. Along with his MECA contributions in the BFA program (teaching four classes of math and physics) he also teaches in the preservice teacher education program at the University of Maine at Farmington.

Robert is an independent educational consultant throughout Northern New England, with a focus in classroom instruction, assessment and curriculum development. His experiences include working as a facilitator for the Maine Mathematics and Science Alliance, national presentations for assessment and mathematics instruction, working with more that thirty school systems in
Maine, and assisting in the development of the teacher education program at Husson College. Mr. Jenkins has also recently served two years as the president of the Maine Curriculum Leaders’ Association.
