Gary Robinov, Adjunct Professor of Digital Media
Gary Robinov is a filmmaker based in Portland, Maine. After graduating from the Maine College of Art in 2004 with a self-designed focus in documentary film, he co-founded White Dog Arts Creative Studios with 2 fellow MECA alums. White Dog Arts specializes in digital media, and independent film.
White Dog has given Gary the platform from which he can continue to explore and grow in his understanding of production, editing and overall story telling while working with such clients as the filmmaker Kevin Breslin, artists: Charlie Hewitt, Alison Hildreth and Randy Regier, Corporate clients such as:Timberland Corp. Anthropology and Cisco along with numerous other private, corporate and non-profit clients.
Gary produced, directed and edited his first feature documentary CanvasMan: The Robbie Ellis Story in 2009 and has worked on several other documentary and narrative projects.
