Position Overview
The Admissions CRM Coordinator is pivotal in supporting the College’s enrollment goals by managing and optimizing the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. This position works closely with the Admissions team and other stakeholders to ensure effective CRM implementation, data integrity, and user support. Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Admissions CRM Coordinator contributes to advancing data-informed recruitment practices and delivering a seamless applicant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the administration of the CRM (Slate), overseeing configuration, updates, and documentation.
- Implement and maintain CRM solutions aligned with recruitment and enrollment strategies for undergraduate and graduate programs.
- Develop and manage CRM workflows, and support event management tools, and communication plans.
- Conduct regular data quality audits to ensure record accuracy and data integrity.
- Create reports, dashboards, and fulfill ad hoc data requests to support decision-making.
- Train Admissions staff and student workers on CRM processes and best practices.
- Act as a liaison to other departments for CRM-related engagement and communications.
- Coordinate with external partners on data imports, exports, and automation protocols.
- Document and recommend enhancements to CRM standard operating procedures.
- Participate in recruitment events (e.g., college fairs, portfolio days) as needed to support institutional enrollment goals.
- Stay current with CRM best practices and trends in admissions technology and data management.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience, preferably in admissions, enrollment management, or CRM systems administration.
- Prior experience in higher education is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Slate or similar CRM platforms is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and database or spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel, Sheets) required.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly with data systems and process improvement.
- Proficiency in building and executing CRM queries and reports.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects independently.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced, evolving environment.

What We Offer
This is a full-time, year-round, exempt position. The starting salary is $45,000 annually and is commensurate with experience. Maine College of Art & Design offers a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and a collaborative, creative work environment.
