The Writing Center is located in the Joanne Waxman Library. Part of the Maine College of Art & Design community, the Writing Center enables artists to flourish by supporting their academic achievement as well as their burgeoning careers.
Comprised of a team of dedicated professionals, the Writing Center focuses on student-centered inclusiveness and remains available to students at every stage of the learning process. Staff work with students one-on-one to strengthen academic and professional writing. Sessions may focus on existing assignments or general skill-building.

The Writing Center supports students from all backgrounds and within each course of study, including students enrolled in BFA, MFA, MAT, and SALT programs.
