Portfolio Day

Portfolio Day connects MECA&D students and recent graduates with creative professionals, employers, and industry leaders for meaningful feedback, conversation, and career connection.

Students have the opportunity to share their portfolios, talk about their creative practice, receive feedback from professionals working in the field, and gain insight into how their work can translate into professional opportunities. Whether they are preparing for internships, launching a career, pursuing freelance work, or building a professional creative practice, Portfolio Day gives students a chance to practice presenting their work and make connections beyond the classroom. MECA&D hosts two Portfolio Days, one in the fall and a virtual option in the spring semester, allowing students to reach industry professionals across the country.

For participating professionals, Portfolio Day offers an opportunity to discover emerging creative talent and engage directly with the next generation of artists and designers.
