About the Event
Current students from the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies at Maine College of Art & Design will share true personal stories, live and (mostly) without notes. The evening's host is guest artist Micaela Blei, a two-time Moth GrandSLAM winner and former Director of Education at The Moth. Micaela has spent several weeks working with Salt students on storytelling and performance. Don't miss out on this one-night-only experience; admission is free!
Stories Online
If you weren't able to make it to SPACE or tune in to WMPG, you still have one more chance to hear the audio from the Salt Spring '24 class: online for a limited time!
Don't miss out on stories about: the last video store in Maine, a toilet that tore a town apart, a surprising "she shed," kids talking about fear, risqué vanity license plates, "chess rage," and the last town in the state to experience the totality!
