Join us for MECA&D Open Studios! You can visit our working students in their studios for live demonstrations and discussions of their practice. There will also be beginner-level mini-workshops where you can create a small piece of art to take home. Please remember that workshop participants must pay a $10 materials fee in cash. Workshops will be running throughout the day and will last about 15 minutes.
We will showcase 18 Craft students in their third year of study in ceramics, fashion and textiles, metalsmithing and jewelry, printmaking, and woodworking. Organizers will meet guests in the Congress Street Lobby and direct them toward the participating studios. We will provide maps.
