The Co-Lab exhibition at Maine College of Art & Design showcases the collaborative work of third-year Fine Art and Craft majors. This exhibition, developed in conjunction with the Third Year Seminar Course, emphasizes the importance of collaboration in arts education.
Each group of students has worked together to produce a singular, collective artwork that reflects their material exploration, conceptual thinking, and shared ideas. Through this collaboration, they have expanded their artistic practices by merging individual approaches into a cohesive project, highlighting the essential role that working in concert with others plays in developing their research, design, and professional practices.
