MECA&D alumni Bronwen O’Wril ’19, verónica pérez MFA ’16, and Celeste Roberge ’79 will collaborate with Erin Woodbrey on Life Forms: Change, the final small-group show in a four-year series.
Life Forms is a sculpture collective of twelve artists and an experiment in artistic community building. Through the series, the artists aim to deepen relationships with each other, and discover new connections through their creative practice. This exhibition explores the theme ‘Change’ through works pertaining to ocean warming, sea-level rise, and climate; the body’s vulnerability, living through loss, and mortality; and enlivened ebbing and flowing forms which appear to seek meaning and purpose.
Life Forms: Change will be on view at Sidle House from June 25 to August 8, with an opening reception on Thursday, June 25 from 4-8 PM.
