Maine College of Art & Design is pleased to announce the winners of this year’s Merit Exhibition & Scholarship Competition. The annual event is held each spring and invites sophomore and junior students with a minimum 3.5 GPA to submit work to be considered for scholarship prizes. A four-person jury reviews submissions and selects winners based on the quality of craft, concept, and realization of their installation.
Submissions are exhibited on three floors of the Porteous building and feature work across majors including sculptures, prints, illustrations, animations, paintings, and more.
The Merit Exhibition & Scholarship Competition is made possible thanks to the generous contributions of Charles E. Culpeper, and Ed Friedman ’08 and Carole Friedman, Hon. DFA '22.
