Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Adler received a BFA in Textiles from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2008 and an MFA in Fibers & Material Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2017. She currently lives and works in Portland, ME.
Residencies: Vermont Studio Center, Hewnoaks Art Residency, Surf Point Foundation, Haystack Open Studio Residency, Monson Art Residency, The Wassaic Projection, Hatch Projects, and the Chicago Artist Coalition.
Awards: Artists Resource Trust Grant through Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, Foundation for Contemporary Arts Emergency Grant, and Illinois Arts Council Grant
Has had the opportunity to exhibit nationally in group and solo shows, including the Portland Museum of Art, Maine MILL Museum, Buoy Gallery, Space Gallery, and the ICA here in Maine.
