Chinese-American artist Evelyn Wong is an interdisciplinary artist who works across a variety of media, including drawing, painting, embroidery, book arts, and installation, to explore themes of history, trauma, culture, race, and gender through the lens of personal narratives and her Asian American heritage. She has recently exhibited work at the NAU Art Museum in Flagstaff, Arizona, the Portland Museum of Art in Portland, Maine, and the Museum of Craft and Design in San Francisco, California. Some of her recent books can be found in the Special Collections of the Joanne Waxman Library.
