Martha Kearsley is a bookbinder and letterpress printer in Portland, ME, where she has owned and operated Strong Arm Bindery since 1999. She designs and produces a growing line of stationery, and in her commissioned work, Martha specializes in historical bookbindings, box making, and conservation repair of books and paper. For the last 17 years, she has been a faculty member at North Bennet Street School in Boston, where she's an instructor in the Bookbinding Program.
