Undergraduate Housing
Maine College of Art & Design has four residence halls. Each building has a corresponding meal plan for undergraduates. Oak Street includes a 17 meals per week plan and $150 MECA&D bucks per semester. Shepley, Monument, and Erlang come with a 12 meals per week plan and $150 MECA&D bucks per semester. Meal plans for undergraduate students living in on campus housing are included in the room & board costs below.

Graduate Housing
Students in our graduate programs (MFA, MAT, and SALT) are not required to reside in campus housing, but interested students can find housing costs below.
Graduate student housing does not include a meal plan, although plans may be purchased separately by filling out the Student Meal Plan Contract.
MFA students who live in campus housing through the year and sign an annual contract will be charged for their academic year assignment and summer intensive assignment. For first year MFA students on an annual housing contract, the housing assignment for summer intensive includes additional weeks after the duration of the intensive. For second year MFA students on an annual housing contract, the housing assignment for summer intensive includes additional weeks before and after the duration of the intensive. These additional weeks may need to be charged separately due to federal aid regulations.
