Monday Artist Talk: Kiko Aebi

Kiko Aebi is the Katz Curator at the Colby College Museum of Art, where she oversees the presentation, care, and interpretation of the Alex Katz and Katz Foundation Collections. Aebi is an art historian specializing in postwar American art. She previously held curatorial positions in the Departments of Drawings and Prints and Painting and Sculpture at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, where she developed exhibitions including Jack Whitten: The Messenger (opening in spring 2025), Ed Ruscha / Now Then (2023) and Cézanne Drawing (2021). In addition to contributing to several of MoMA's publications, her writing has been published by The Burlington Magazine, Kunstlicht, and Metropolis M. Aebi holds degrees in Art History from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Amherst College. She was the recipient of a Fulbright Research Grant in 2019.
