About the Grant
Thanks to the generous support alum Ed Friedman '08, the Above and Beyond Grant provides current students with access to professional opportunities outside the walls of the college.
Awardees
The spring 2024 awardees are Wills Phillips '25 and Ryan Swedenborg MFA '25. Phillips, a sculpture major, will take glassblowing classes and Swedenborg will take a sculptural woodworking workshop at Penland School of Craft.
